Meet the Team

Founder and Tutor

My name is Taya and I am a grade 11 student at Glenlyon Norfolk School. I created School Helpers to support parents and students across Vancouver Island. Through School Helpers,  I want to provide students access to the help, enrichment, and drop-in support that they may need. Other than coordinating The School Helpers Organization, I am also happy to tutor math, science, and English. In my free time, I enjoy reading and spending time outdoors. We at School Helpers are looking forward to working with you!

Director of Communications and Tutor

Hi - I’m Angelina and I’m in Grade 11 at Glenlyon Norfolk School. I’ve tutored English through School Helpers, which I’ve greatly enjoyed, though I’m also happy to help with social studies and science. I believe there is always a way to make learning fun. I love reading and writing, which inspired me to work and volunteer at my local library. I am also interested in music, movies, art and sports. I love animals and enjoy spending time with my American Cocker Spaniel, Bella. I’m passionate about helping others, and am excited to make a positive impact as the Director of Communications. I look forward to speaking with you soon!

I understand how difficult these subjects can be for some students and would like to help your child form a greater love of learning by giving them the extra help that they may need to succeed.
